Lincoln Police are investigating the theft of a high-value piece of construction equipment. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says officers were called to Stephens & Smith Construction shop near 181st and Harwood Streets on Tuesday after an employee discovered the item was missing.
“He reported a yellow Leica Robotic Total Station, valued at more than $21,000, was taken at some point in the last five months. It’s marked with Stephens & Smith stickers,” Thomas says. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating the stolen equipment. Anyone with information is urged to contact Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
