Governor Jim Pillen today re-issued an executive order aimed at helping ranchers recover from this season’s wildfires.
The order allows commercial motor carriers delivering supplies to impacted ranchers to operate under relaxed regulations. That includes easing hours-of-service requirements, as well as load and weight limits for trucks hauling emergency materials.
State officials say the need for assistance remains significant in wildfire-affected areas, prompting the extension of the emergency measures.
The executive order will remain in effect through June 14.
