3 Arrested Following Fight at Cooper Park

A soccer game Saturday afternoon at Cooper Park, 950 South 6th Street, ended after Lincoln Police cited and released three people for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting.

LPD Lieutenant Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News, ” Several callers reported a physical altercation, with some indicating a baseball bat had been involved.  Officers contacted all involved parties and witnesses.”

Witnesses and those involved gave different accounts about who started the altercation and the role of a plastic baseball bat.

Khalaf Mourad, Keri Mourad and Mark Holland were cited and released.  No injuries were reported.
