Statewide gaming tax receipts in Nebraska remained essentially unchanged in May, matching April’s total at just over $5.4 million. Through the first five months of the year, gaming tax collections have generated nearly $27 million for state and local government programs.

At WarHorse Casino Lincoln, gaming tax receipts totaled approximately $1.6 million in May, a decrease of 0.5% compared to April.

As a result of the May collections, both the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County are expected to receive just under $203,000 each from the casino’s tax revenue distribution.
