Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases. LPD’s Becky Keller says on Friday, June 5th around 10am a man driving a pickup truck hit another vehicle while pulling into the North 27th Menards parking lot.
“After hitting the vehicle, he gets out, observes the damage, then a few minutes later enters the store to make his purchase,” Keller says. He was an older white male with what appeared to be an orange and salmon colored striped shirt. He was driving a newer Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, white in color.”
The second case is from the evening of April 28th at the Walmart on N. 85th Street. “A woman came into the store. She had three kids with her, and another adult female,” Keller says. “The woman was seen grabbing 24 pounds of tomatoes along with other miscellaneous items”
Keller says she took the items to a cashier to ring up, and when the cashier leaves to grab a manager to assist, the woman took the items without attempting to pay and left the store with them. “She was seen leaving in a newer white Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.”
