There’s a new website that claims to be able to tell you if you’ve been tracked by flock cameras.
If you don’t know, flock cameras are those cameras that are used to capture license plate numbers and other car info and they can track through a network of these cameras. And, there’s been a lot of talk about flock cameras being misused lately to illegally track people down and general invasion of privacy. In August alone, 50 officers from around the US were accused of using them illegally. Other people working in sensitive positions like schools and city workers in the US have been arrested too.
The site is Have I Been flocked dot Com. They make it clear that it doesn’t tell you if it’s just something like your plates being photographed. They run through databases and record requests to see if you’ve been tagged and put through further observation or tracking.
I ran my own plates and…….. no searches have been done on me. Which means all is going to plan!!!! Mwaah haaa haaa!!
