Stolen Gun Changes Hands, Four Arrests Made

Lincoln Police made four arrests in connection to a robbery at 42nd and Cornhusker on August 23rd. A neighbor called police around 11 a.m. to report two men had walked up to a home and knocked a motorcycle into a vehicle parked in the driveway. One of the men was carrying a rifle. Both entered a trailer on the property. When officers arrived, both men were gone but a 43 year old man and a 38 year old man told police they were inside the trailer when the armed men entered. The two men grabbed a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun, a bicycle and a cell phone.

Investigators identified the two suspects as 23 year old Justin Hradecky and 32 year old Lars Craig.

Craig was arrested for robbery on August 30th. On September 29th at 8 a.m., Hradecky was taken into custody in the 1800 block of SW 15th Street. Investigators found evidence that Hradecky was in possession of the stolen gun and sold it to another person. Hradecky was booked for the robbery, possession of a stolen firearm and on felony and misdemeanor warrants.

Investigators also determined that 26 year old Chase Bass had been in possession of the stolen firearm and was a convicted felon. He was also wanted on a federal warrant and was located in the 1800 block of Knox on September 28th just after 1 p.m. Bass was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen firearm.

Investigators also found evidence that the stolen gun had been in 22 year old Dylan Issacson’s possession before he sold it to another individual. Issacson was arrested on September 1st and was booked for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a stolen weapon.

The stolen firearm was recovered on September 14th.
