If not for a pint sized Pomeranian name Tater Tot, a Pennsylvania man would have met his maker.
Tom Kissel was on dock, checking something in his boat last July. He accidentally hit his head and fell into the river. Also, this was out in God’s country, out of the way. You literally have to go through the woods to get to the spot.
Kissel’s brave little dog Tater Tot jumped in the water and started swimming around Tom who was unconscious. Tater raised enough of a commotion that he caught the attention pf a couple tying a boat to different dock. They pulled him from the river and applied CPR until help arrived 20 minutes later.
Also, Tater Tot only has three legs. He’d lost one to cancer. He still hopped in the water and doggy paddled his butt off to save his human.
