The home opener for the delayed Nebraska volleyball season will have to wait.
The Huskers were set to host Northwestern Friday and Saturday, but COVID issues within the Wildcats program forced the series to be postponed. Both programs will work with the Big Ten Conference to find make up dates.
“We are disappointed for our fans that we won’t be able to play this weekend, but the health and safety of everyone in the Northwestern volleyball program is what’s most important, and we wish them all the best,” Nebraska Head Coach John Cook said.
