Netflix raised its prices on everything last Friday. I don’t remember getting a notification that they were going to do this. What I Do remember is that when I first started streaming with Netflix, it was $8 a month. I have the standard plan. It’s $15.49 a month now. That’s up $1.50. The basic plan went up a dollar to $9.99. The premium plan went up $2 to $19.99. They released the same exct statement that they did last time they raised prices. It’s something about how they understand lots of choices, blah, blah, want to provide best content, blah, blah. The reality is that they’re spending billions to get their hands on stuff like Squid Games and we’re going to keep paying more to watch them.
Also, did you know they still offer DVDs in the mail? I thought that was over years ago, but as I did some research on this story, I found a page on the Netflix site where you can sign up for the DVD plan for ten bucks a month. You can add it to your streaming or just get DVDs.
