Marcus Theaters is offering a vaccination required show time option at the Lincoln Grand Cinema.
Clint Wisialowski is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Marcus Theaters and tells KLIN News the new option will start on Friday. Vaccine only shows will be available for two titles daily. If you are purchasing your tickets on their website, options for a vaccination only showing will be clearly marked.
Wisialowski says the doors at Marcus Theaters are open to all, vaccinated or not. He says for those not vaccinated, “Go to the app. Go the website. Visit our box office and pick the next available showtime which we on purpose have scheduled very close to the vaccine show time so you are given a choice as well. We value every guest that walks in the building and every guest opinion matters.”
Marcus Theaters started testing the vaccine only showings last November. Wisialowski says, “When we went through this, we noticed that people, one, were asking for it and two, they were speaking with their wallets. There were people who hadn’t visited us for 18 months or more. We had to figure out why. This was one of the tests that we implemented to figure that out. All of a sudden we were getting guests who haven’t been there for 18 months. We were listening.” He says they have been very pleased with the response.
Guests attending the vaccine only showing will be asked to show their vaccination card or a photo of it and an ID.
This week’s vaccine required shows will be “Scream” and “Redeeming Love”. Wisialowski says features and show times will change every week.
Check out their website for more details on vaccinated only showings.
