This is such a feel good story. Audrey Soape, an 11 year old girl in Texas had a Daddy/ Daughter dance coming up. But Audrey didn’t have a father figure in her life. Both her dad and her grandfather had passed away the year before. Audrey’s mother reached out to another man who Audrey looks up to, Philadelphia Eagles football player Anthony Harris. She asked if he would be kind enough to take Audrey to the dance.
He said yes. He even bought a dress, shoes, and makeup for Audrey. Afterwards he said that he was just trying to be human and to show sympathy and support for their family. He added, “You gotta cherish these moments. You never know how long we have here on this Earth”. Seeing the pictures, you can tell that he helped bring a ton of happiness to her life that night
