Gov. tries removing protestors with loud Barry Manilow music. Results weren’t what they wanted. Video in blog.

Protesting vaccine mandates in New Zealand will earn you about 300 decibels of “Mandy” by Barry Manilow. Security at their parliament building didn’t have luck dispersing protesters using water sprinklers, so they decided on the smooth, smooth vocal of Manilow. They were using a loop of songs that included Barry’s hits, La Macarena, Baby Shark, and a James Blunt song last weekend. It didn’t work so well. As you can see on the video on my blog, protesters just ended up singing along like it was karaoke night. Some seemed really into it. Watching hundreds of people sing along to Baby Shark is…. Interesting.
