This blog has B107.3’s Austin written all over it. Austin is a HUGE lover of Mac-and-Cheese.
Perhaps you heard about this last summer, but now you can actually try the Kraft Mac-and-Cheese flavored ICE CREAM. It was originally a limited-time-only feature. But because it sold out so fast when it was first introduced, the public is getting an extended chance to try this . . . unique flavor. Or in my opinion, GROSS flavor!! No, I haven’t tried it . . . but Mac-and-Cheese flavored ice cream just sounds horrible. I suppose if you’re a Mac-and-Cheese lover, like Austin, then you may have a different opinion?
So where can you buy it? Walmart. It should be available today. Walmart partnered with the O-G creators of the Mac-and-Cheese flavor, Van Leeuwen. The ice cream shop is based out of Brooklyn.
Now, that isn’t the only flavor being sold at Walmart. Wally World is actually selling seven Van Leeuwen flavors, including another flavor that’s either delicious or disgusting: PIZZA-flavored ice cream. Perfect timing considering today is Pi Day. The flavor is described as “cream cheese and mozzarella ice cream, with a tomato jam swirl and basil crust cookies.” Like the Mac-and-Cheese, this too sounds horrible.
Walmart IS selling flavors that DO sound good, or at least intriguing to try. Those five other flavors are: Hot Honey, Royal Wedding Cake, Bourbon Cherries Jubilee, Wild Blueberry Shortcake . . . and “Planet Earth”, which is almond and matcha flavored.
Pints of all seven flavors will be available at Walmart (in all 50 states) for the next 10 weeks.
