Most historic food joint in Nebraska is………

By Austin Michael Mar 22, 2022 | 7:33 PM

Lovefood.com compiled a list of the “Most historic food joint in every state and what to order there”. For Nebraska, they chose Lee’s Chicken in Lincoln. It’s about 3 miles from where I live and I’ve never been there once. I’ve lived in Lincoln for nearly 20 years and I don’t think I’ve even driven in front of the place. I remember the giant chicken mascot got stolen back in 2014 and was returned by a couple of attorneys. They returned it because the people who stole Pete, The Mascot, could use client attorney privilege to cover if the attorneys took it back.
Then there was the time Pete was stole in 1996 and returned for Ozzy Osborne concert tickets.

Even though the title on the site says that Lovefood.com would suggest what to order, they didn’t. What they wrote is, “it still serves that tasty fried chicken, along with fries, burgers and fried seafood.” which pretty much describes every option on every menu everywhere. So, if you have suggestions for me before I go in for the first time, e-mail me at austin@b1073.com.
