Ah, the good old days of school photos. Picture day was always a stressful day for kids and parents. From hairstyle to outfit, to making sure that they stayed clean…what a time, lol. Then you waited for the proofs, only to be surprised that they changed or had recess right before and looked like they had gone through a tornado. Not to say all of the photos were bad, sometimes they surprised you…sometimes 😂.
Now imagine you get the proof and they are invisible…kinda. That’s what happened to a school in Indiana. Due to several different situations, school photos got delayed and delayed again. So due to those delays, it ended up happening on St. Patrick’s Day. Well…what happens on St. Patrick’s Day, most people wear green, right? Add to that, the company, Inter State Photography, uses green screen, to add nice little touches, like making it look like the kids are in a field or sitting in front of a pretty white picket fence. The only probelm is that green on a green screen negates itself and whatever you are wearing that has green will display what the green screen has on it. So these kids, all wearing green started to look like floating heads in a field of flowers or floating heads on a picket fence, and hilarity ensues. All of the parents were pretty good natured and had a good laugh. The photography studio said that the photos can be fixed in post edit, but some of the parents want them just the way they are. You will get a good chuckle at these photos. (I kind of wish mine were still in school now).
