No experience passenger lands plane. Watch landing and listen to exchange with tower in blog.

If you were in small plane and the pilot went unconscious, would you be able to remain calm and land it with a little help from the tower? This happened at Palm Beach International 2 days ago. They were coming back from the Bahamas when it happened. The passenger radioed the tower and calmly explained the situation. And then calmly followed instructions to calmly land the plane. I keep pointing out calmly because I know I would be freaking out and I’m pretty sure 95% of the rest of the world would be having a panic attack too. I wouldn’t even know how to use the radio to ask for help.
