Kellyoke – THE EP!!

For a while, word on the street was that Kelly Clarkson was going to release a covers album . . . and the rumors are true 🤩!!!  The queen of covers officially announced on her daytime talk show that she’s dropping a 6-track EP on June 10th (MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND mind you –lol).  The EP is perfectly called “Kellyoke”, which is the opening segment on her show.

The EP features some of Kelly’s favorite covers on the show . . . which had to have been grueling.  How do you pick??  So many goodies!

Released ahead of Kelly’s announcement today was her studio version of “Happier Than Ever” (originally sung by Billie Eilish).  Kelly sang a much shorter version of the song on her show back in September (see below).  All I have to say is  . . . this cover is SENSATIONAL.  Her vocals 🔥🔥🔥!!  It’s her best recorded cover (so far) . . . and I think it’s obvious that her vocals are fueled by the subject matter of the song . . . a certain you-know-who ex.  Did I mention how spiritual it is to hear Kelly curse??  There is an edited version too.
