One of the more crazy stories I’ve caught today involves Lady Gaga being in talks to star in the next “Joker” movie with Joaquin Phoenix. That’s not the crazy part. It says she’s up for the part of Harley Quin which Margot Robbie has been playing in the other movies. That’s not the crazy part. It also says that the movie is going to be a musical. That’s the nutty part; a musical about The Joker from Batman.
What would his songs be like? Maybe, “500 25,000 6 hundred murders to go. How do you measure the length of my knife?” Think “Rent”. Would he have to bring out Bane, Poison Ivy, and The Penguin because it would be a choral piece?
Whether it’s going to be a musical or not, Director Todd Phillips, has announced that a sequel is in the works.
