Friday Feel Good Feature– Tonight’s inspiring story is about 70 year old Linda Taylor of Minneapolis. 19 years ago she moved there to do volunteer work for the homeless and needy. But as great as that is, the inspirational part isn’t what she did for the community. It’s what the community did for her. Rising prices have been hard on her since she’s been retired. Her landlord decided to sell the house she’s been renting and was going to evict her. Linda didn’t have the money to buy the house. So, her neighbors raised enough to buy it for her. Donations, bake sales, art sales, and more…….. they did everything they could until they had enough to pay the landlord and make sure Linda, who had impressed them all with her years of selfless work for the area’s needy, had a home of her own.
