I have a 4th of July recipe that’s like a burger, but it’s crab meat. It’s Crab Cake Sliders. Imagine crab cakes on top of bacon, with tomatoes and lettuce and a creamy sauce with pinch of zest. It’s a grill free recipe, but unique. And besides, I saw a pound of hamburger going for $7 a pound a couple of days ago. Cans of crab meat a cheaper. But you should probably buy some before it all runs out anyway. It’s got a kind of heavy prep time, but again, you can brag about how unique and cool it is while sipping some wine or beer with the fireworks going off. You can be like, “Hey Joe, what’d you bring? Old Natural and hot dogs. Good stuff. Did you try my crab cakes? No. Everyone else did”.
