It’s one of the (if not THE) most iconic crosswalks in the world . . . and Google Maps got it wrong. 🙈.
You should be familiar with the infamous intersection from the cover of the Beatles’ “Abbey Road” album. Well, for some reason, Google Maps has been doing some people dirty by sending them to a DIFFERENT Abbey Road intersection. Oops. Which is about a half-mile away from the famous one.
Could be worse.
Apparently, the safest way to get to the right intersection using Google Maps is to type in “The Beatles crosswalk.” You’ll also see an Abbey Road street sign with messages from fans scribbled all over it.
Have you been to the (correct) Abbey Road intersection?
