Do you know how to give an elephant CPR? It takes a lot of jumping up and down on its chest. I’m not trying to be funny. That’s exactly how a mother elephant’s life was saved in Thailand. A baby elephant slipped into a large hole which is part of a drain. The mother tried to help, but slipped, hit her head, and went unconscious. They pulled the mother out, but she laid on her side unresponsive. While a group continued to work on getting the calf out of the hole, men are leaning on the mother, pressing hard with both arms trying to keep her heart going. One man got on top of her and jumped up and down with eventually revived her. Then she walked off with her baby.
