“A Christmas Story” sequel premiere date and details.

One project on HBO Max that hasn’t been cancelled is the new A Christmas Story sequel. In fact, we have a secure date now, November 17^th. Peter Billingsley will be back as Ralphie, albeit, this time he’s the dad. He and his wife return to his childhood home in order to recapture some of the Christmas magic from the original movie. I’ll note that the original movie wasn’t magic in theaters. It flopped. It wasn’t until later that it picked up steam. Other actors from the original will be reprising their roles too. Ralphie’s dad won’t be back. IN the new movie, he’s passed away which will play part of Ralphie’s motivation for returning to Cleveland.
