Signs of Stroke

By Brooke Summers Sep 7, 2022 | 10:15 AM

Julie Chin is a news anchor in Tulsa, OK and on Saturday in the middle of her morning broadcast she knew something just wasn’t right but wasn’t sure what was happening. She threw things off to her meteorologist and immediately her colleagues made sure that she got some help. She would later find out that what she had experienced was the beginnings of a stroke, live on air.

The first sign was partial loss of sight, then a numbing of the hand and arm. Next, she could read the teleprompter but her mouth wouldn’t allow her to say the words.

Fortunately, she is on the mend and wants to share her story so that we can all be aware.
