Three weeks from today is HALLOWEEN! Which means trick-or-treaters will be clamoring at your door for king sized candy bars. (BTW I know a guy who hands out king sized candy bars in case you’re lookin’ for a hook up 😉.)
So, which Halloween candy is the BEST? We now know that answer thanks to the help from some candy “experts”.
Ten different experts (writers AND readers from sources like: Delish, the “Washington Post”, the “New York Times”, the “L.A. Times”, Thrillist, and Pioneer Woman) created one master list of the best.
Here are the results, do you agree?
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups . . . Perfect size and packaging.
- Twix . . . Never too dry, never too chewy, and never too creamy.
- Sour Patch Kids . . . First they’re sour, then they’re sweet . . . and there’s a palatable chewiness, but they won’t get stuck in your teeth.
- Snickers . . . Pretty much represent every “candy” food group: Nougat, caramel, nuts, and chocolate.
- Starburst . . . Sweet, chewy, and just the right size . . . but some colors are better than others. Experts love Pink.
