Marshmallow like planet discovered.

By Austin Michael Nov 4, 2022 | 7:26 PM

Scientists have discovered a planet that is only as dense as a marshmallow. It’s spinning around a red dwarf star in a distant galaxy. Red dwarf stars can be fairly cool, which explains why the planet hasn’t been toasted. See what I did there? You’re probably wondering how it can be a planet, yet be all soft like that. It’s a gas giant. Still, most gas giants have huge amounts of pressure and get really dense. Scientists think this one is so light and fluffy because of it having a rocky core that somehow draws in gasses, but not that tightly. It’s a big planet too, allow for everything to spread out. The diameter is 100,000 miles. Earth’s diameter is just under 8,000 miles.
