A man who lost an eye to cancer build his own prosthetic eyes. The latest one has a flashlight in it. Brian Stanley lost the eye when he was a kid. Now, as an adult, he’s decided he wants more variety in his fake eye balls. He has a video showing how well the flashlight one works. It does a nice job of lighting up a good area in front of him with a light shooting out of his head. When the light is turned off, he kind of looks like the Terminator after he got half his face toe off and you could see the robotic eye. Brian says the battery charge on the eye is about 20 hours.
I watched the video and I can’t tell how he’s turning it on and off. That’s one of those small things that is going to bug me. HE also mentioned that he hopes to be able to start making these for other people. That’s because he knows a million dollar eye-dea when he sees one! Ha! Two bad jokes in one sentence! I still got it.
