As a foodie, I felt it is my duty to share a recipe I brought back from Jamaica. The food is called a Patty. It’s basically a Jamaican Runza. They have them all over with restaurants that specialize in just Patties. It’s seasoned beef inside of a flaky, baked crust. Ingredients include thyme, curry, beef, onions, broth, and a few other things. There are a few different versions but the recipe I found at All Recipes looks to be the closest to the most common Patty. Prep and cook time is a little over an hour, but they’re worth it. I’ll be making some in the near future.
