Better Heart Health By Cutting Just 200 Calories

By Austin Michael Aug 5, 2021 | 7:15 PM

We know that regular exercise and changing diet helps health. But, a new study is saying that as far as diet goes, cutting just 200 calories a day can make an impact on your heart health.

Just 200 calories. That’s not even an entire Snickers bar. It’s only half of a Vanilla Frappuccino. The average glazed doughnut has 265 calories. So, this isn’t hard. Substitute a glass of water for a soda and you’re almost there.

The study showed that obese adults who engage in regular exercise and cut 200 calories a day showed greater improvements in how well their arteries worked and less stiffness in their arteries.

This study is in line with a previous one that found cutting 300 calories a day is beneficial.
