Remember that slice of cake from Princess Di’s wedding that I mentioned a couple weeks ago? They were going to auction it off and expected it to sell for 3 or 500 bucks. That 40 year old chunk of cake brought in $2,600.
I understand memorabilia, but it’s a piece of cake. What are you going to do with it, throw house parties and invite people to sit around the freezer to have a look at a 40 year old piece of cake? It’s not like if you had one of Bruno Mars’ drum sticks or a shirt Brad Pitt wore in a movie.
Do you have anything that’s considered celebrity memorabilia?
I have a guitar pick I caught when the band threw it out to the audience at a Metallica concert nearly 30 years ago. And honestly, I don’t know where it’s at, probably in a box under the stairs.
