By Austin Michael Sep 14, 2021 | 7:03 PM

Hurricane Ida is going to be affecting the rest of the country without touching most of us. It knocked most of natural gas suppliers out of commission. Prices surged yesterday because it looks like there might be a supply issue now. The way the money men are putting it is like this, “More disruptions from extreme weather is a cause of concern for producers and a reason for traders to add price premiums,” Translation, get your wallet out.

So, now natural gas prices are at a 7 year high which likely means high heating bills in a few months for half the country; 50% of homes are heated with natural gas.
