Squirrel goes NUTS in car. (Multiple fun videos in blog.)

By Austin Michael Oct 1, 2021 | 7:01 PM

You ever wonder where squirrels are putting all the nuts they collect? We have a ton of squirrels in our neighborhood. There are a lot of trees, but there doesn’t look like there’s enough room to put a winter’s worth of nuts in them. I say that because squirrels store a LOT of food.

For instance, a squirrel in North Dakota stashed 42 gallons of walnuts……. In a guy’s car.

I don’t know how long his Chevy Avalanche was sitting in the driveway, but long enough for the squirrel to completely fill the engine area under the hood. The owner had to disassemble the engine bay. The bumper, sheet metal, and all the housing stuff all had to come off to clean out the 150 pounds of walnuts. He gave them away on Facebook.

Apparently this happens more often than thought. I found some videos of other cars that squirrels filled up.
