Last week, I talked about how creepy the hotel Jenny I stayed at in Boston was, the Boston Omni Parker House.
Today, I was looking at Travelocity’s 7 Most Haunted Hotels in America and BAM! The Omni is on that list. Even before I read the article, I knew it would be. I did not know that it’s the oldest continuously running hotel in the country. I did know that every second I was there made me feel like a presence wanted to suck out my life energy. Seriously. One story is that the original owner of the hotel, Harvey Park, is often seen floating around the halls on the 10th floor. Also, floating light orbs and the sound of a rocking chair being heard even though the hotel doesn’t have any rocking chairs.
CLICK HERE to see the article with all seven hotels and a super creepy pic of the Omni. It’s a shot as you enter from the street. You face the 4 creepy elevators (yes, even the elevators cause skin crawling, even from the outside) and can see the check in desk to the right. There’s a stairway on the left that leads up half a floor. Yeah, half a floor to a level. It’s called a mezzanine. It just added to the overall “get me out of here” effect of the place. You had to go up on the mezzanine in order to use a restroom.
This was the bathroom in our room…….. just a reminder of one of the reasons the Omni freaked me out.
