Boston has lost its ever lovin’ mind when it comes to the housing market. Remember last month when I talked about a house that had been on fire, was gutted, had holes in the exterior walls, busted windows, and was still listed for half a million dollars. Last Monday, in a less toasted Boston neighborhood, a 250 square foot home sold for the equally tiny price of $315,000.
It is literally the size of a lot of sheds in Lincoln. In fact, I know of a lot of Lincolnites who have lawn mowers that wouldn’t fit in this house, but would in their sheds. The parking space that comes with the house is bigger than the house!
Here’s the best part. The original asking price was $450,000.
The listing is proud to point out that it has brand new electrical upgrades. So, they probably added and extension cord somewhere which added an extra $45,000 to the asking price.
