Being young and dumb doesn’t just happen to humans. Case in point, a bear cub in Monrovia, California approached a giant, blow up reindeer lawn decoration. Then, either the little guy isn’t a fan of Christmas or thought it was a real deer, he attacked it and took it.
Meanwhile momma bear sat back and watched the whole thing, probably shaking her head.
The encounter was caught on video by someone who did the smart thing and stood very far away while taping it. Do you hear that people who keep going to Yellowstone and getting attacked by bison and bears because you think 5 feet is a safe distance?
Anyway, cute watching it. But then you realize, people live in a neighborhood where bears walk through their lawns. The woman who video- taped it told the news, “We see those two around all the time. They’re trouble.” She also said the bears had gotten into people’s homes. And then she laughed about it.
If it were me, there’d be less laughing and more moving to a new neighborhood.
