This sounds like something I would have done to my brothers. Back in 1987, Ryan Wasson gave his brother, Frankford, a joke gift. It was a candy book he knew Frankford wouldn’t like. Ryan was correct about that. What he didn’t expect was Frankford re-wrapping it the next year and giving it back. And back and forth it has gone every year, ever since. They’ve gotten creative with it too. One year, the candy was sewn inside of a teddy bear. It was delivered inside Jello another year.
I used to give my brothers gag gifts every year. The best idea I had involved 7 or 8 VCRs I picked up from a Goodwill store. I don’t remember what the whole, intricate plan was. I know it also involved a VHS copy of “Ace Ventura Pet Detective Jr”. It never got implemented. One of my brothers gave me a bag of door knobs. It actually came in handy. I’ve used a couple of them since.
