Burger King is going crazy with burgers in other countries again. This time, it’s a 4 patty, six slices of cheese monster in Japan. It’s gigantic. Which, to me, makes it weird that they doing this in Japan. I think I saw maybe three people the entire time I was in Japan who I would consider big enough to eat one of these. I suppose 3 or 4 people could share one. But, touching other people’s food is a pretty big taboo in Japan.
Anyway, it’s called the King Yeti Super One Pound Beef Burger. At least the name seems Japanese. There’s also pickles, onions, and Caesar sauce. Those 6 cheese slices are Gouda, parmesan, and camembert. It all comes on a brioche bun and runs about $15 bucks in American money. If you want to try it out, you have to get to Japan by March 3rd.
I didn’t even try to look up the calorie count of this thing. It’s moot after 2 patties and 4 slices of cheese. If you’re still consider eating something at that point, all pretense of trying to be healthy or watch your weight is gone.
