Robo taxis unleashed in Vegas.

Driverless, “robotaxis”, are now running in Las Vegas. They launched on February 24^th. Right now it’s a small thing with limited taxis and shuttles that get people around down town. It shouldn’t be dangerous seeing as how the company doing it has already run tests with the vehicles in Vegas for four years. It’s actually a couple of companies working together. Lyft is involved as well as a company called Via and one called Motional, an autonomous driving system company. Long story short, they plan on giving people rides and getting into driverless food delivery. They expect to have a full on fleet and operations running next year.
