Don’t buy your kid THIS for Easter

By Bic Apr 13, 2022 | 10:50 AM

Easter is this upcoming Sunday, and if you’re planning to buy your kiddo a pet rabbit . . . you might want to rethink that decision.  Or at least think long and hard before you commit.

Rabbit advocates say they’re fairly high-maintenance, and it can cost $300 or more to have them spayed or neutered.  If you don’t, they get aggressive and could BITE your child . . . which is why a lot of bunnies bought as Easter gifts end up being set loose.  But domestic rabbits have no survival skills, and usually don’t last long in the wild (dogs and large birds are two of the biggest threats).

Also, there’s a good chance that your child may lose interest once they get older which means YOU will be the one taking care of it.

So maybe listen to the rabbit advocates, and instead of gifting your little one(s) with a real rabbit, you purchase chocolate bunnies instead.
