Tonight’s inspirational, “Age ain’t nuthin’ but a number” story is about Alfred Blashke who helped celebrate his grandson’s college graduation by going sky diving with the kid.
Also, Alfred is 103 years old. He hopped into a plane and then jumped out of it once it got to 14,000 feet.
If I make it to 103, my goal is to be able to get out of a rocking chair.
This 103 year old man fell towards Earth for 5 minutes straight, hitting a speed of 120 miles per hour! His jump also put him in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest person to ever sky dive. Alfred’s grandson said something that only 1 in a trillion people get to say, “It was awesome to be able to jump out of an airplane with my grandpa.”
By the way, he also did a jump when he was a spry 100 years old.
How do life insurance agencies react to something like this? Do they raise the premiums or are they like, “He’s already over 100. He made it past the finish line. Let it go.”
