The first cereal for orange juice

By Bic Apr 28, 2022 | 11:00 AM

I love orange juice.  With the pulp or without the pulp, I love orange juice.  And not once have I ever thought about using OJ . . . for cereal instead of milk.  Have you??

Is Tropicana on to something or is this easy promotion?  Hmm.

Tropicana recently announced their new CEREAL.  Yes, cereal.  It’s called Tropicana Crunch . . . and it’s meant to be eaten with their orange juice and not milk.  Their cereal is a “honey and almond” cereal (think granola).

Now looking at the picture they posted, it looks similar to Honey Bunches of Oats without the corn flakey bits.  After some research, supposedly the honey and almond flavors counteract the tartness of the juice.

If you’re interested in trying Tropicana Crunch like me . . . unfortunately we can’t buy it, or at least not yet.  Tropicana plans to release it for National Orange Juice Day next Wednesday . . . and boxes of the cereal are being given away for free while supplies last on May 4th.

Will it be good??  Well, even Tropicana thinks you may not like it.  On their website, Tropicana Crunch is described as “the first cereal made for O.J. . . . and maybe the LAST.”

Go here for a photo of the packaging.
