I don’t normally jump in on internet and social media fads. That said, when I opened up Facebook this morning, I noticed that about 30 of my friends had posted pictures of themselves that look like paintings. They did it with an app called NewProfilePic. I didn’t think much of it the first few, but then, like I said, everyone seemed to be doing it. That made me start wondering what I’d look like. So I went to the website and loaded up a couple of my pictures. I’m sure we’re going to see a lot more of this over the next couple of weeks because, I’ll admit it, it’s fun to do. I’m going to load up a bunch of different pictures including ones from when I was younger.
It’s free. You can load the app on your phone or do it with a computer at www.newprofilepic.com. I’d love to see how yours come out. Post them to the B107.3 Facebook page. Maybe we can say that Andy Warhol did them and sell them for hundreds of millions of dollars.
