Man falls in volcano after ignoring safety rules.

By Austin Michael Jul 13, 2022 | 7:33 PM

Another example of man vs nature and getting himself into mortal danger and having to be rescued because he didn’t think he had to follow the rules like everyone else. This 23 year old man fell into the crater at Mount Vesuvius. He went up a path that no visitors are supposed to and then stood on the side of the crater where no one is allowed to be be. Then he took a selfie, dropped his camera, and fell into the crater into a bunch of ash several meters down. Tour guides had to pull him to safety. He had minor injuries to his arms, legs, and back. Officials say he got lucky because he hit a ledge and stopped falling. Otherwise it would have been a 900 to 1,000 foot fall.

I think it would’ve been hilarious in a cartoon sort of way, if he would have fallen onto that ledge, got up, dusted himself off, and then a buffalo came running out of nowhere, rams him under the butt, and knocks the guy back up to the top of the crater where officials would be waiting.
