Talk about an interesting concept for a restaurant. 🤔🧐
Fancy Feast, the cat food brand, is opening a pop-up restaurant in New York next week. No, there won’t be real cat food . . . but there will be food based on their cat food flavors.
The place is called Gatto Bianco, which fittingly means “white cat” in Italian. The dishes will be prepared by a Michelin Star chef (very fancy) and the food concepts are based on Fancy Feast recipes.
Over the course of two days, 16 folks will eat at the pop-up restaurant . . . and you’re probably wondering, will this food look like actual cat food? The answer is, no. Whew. The main courses include salmon with saffron risotto . . . baked sea bass with capers and olives . . . and braised beef with spinach and polenta (this looks really good).
For desserts . . . which no cat can eat . . . lemon panna cotta . . . espresso ice cream . . . and chocolate-covered almond cake (these also look really good).
If you happen to be in New York on August 11th and 12th, and are interested in attending, reservations will begin at 11am CT this Thursday.
