I was talking just last night about how Brendan Frasier was going to play the villain on the upcoming movie “Batgirl”. Then Warner Brothers announced it’s scrapping the whole thing. They’re not going to put it in theaters or on HBO Max. This is weird too since the movie is almost done. They’d already shot everything and were in post. So, one would think it was so bad that they were just burying the thing. But the studio is denying that.
And it probably was going to be good. Michael Keaton is in it playing Batman. JK Simmons was back as Commissioner Gordon. They spent $90 million on it already. My guess is that this movie had connections to the “Flash” movie that’s supposed to be coming out. However that movie might get shelved because of all the recent legal allegations against Ezra Miller, the guy who plays Flash.
