When you think summer or vacation, this drink (for me) comes to mind. But after thinking about it, I didn’t order it once this summer (so far) or when I previously took some time off. But maybe you have?? Well, if this analytics firm is accurate then odds are . . . you have consumed it.
The drink I’m referring to is a piña colada! Mmm. It is a great drink.
According to a new report from an analytics firm, piña coladas jumped from 17th to 9th on a list of the most popular cocktails. The data came from bar sales from across the country. They’ve been ordered 87% more than usual.
Mojitos have also had a good year, passing the Old Fashioned cocktail as the fourth most popular, according to their data. Margaritas always top that list.
A drink that I’ve been consuming more than before is the Bellini cocktail. It’s made with Prosecco and peach purée or nectar. So good!
