“Dirty Dancing” resort burns down. No more corner to put Baby in.

The resort that inspired the movie “Dirty Dancing” burned down on Wednesday. The place, called Grossingers, wasn’t open. In fact, the place closed down in 1986, a year before “Dirty Dancing” came out. I guess I thought since it had a connection to the movie, people would had been flocking there over the years, but it was run down with a lot of overgrowth in the area. It used to have a 27 hole golf course, pools, and big time entertainers.

In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a sequel to “Dirty Dancing” in the works. A couple of months ago, they announced that it would have Jennifer Grey in it and a planned release date of February 9th, 2024. They didn’t give any other details. Then there was the ABC remake in 2017 that had Debra Messing in it. You can still watch it on Amazon Prime for two dollars.
