A house that floats on ocean water. Does that sound like it could be home for you? A company called Ocean Builders, is promoting Sea Pods, basically little dwellings floating on the ocean, as homes. They look super stylish and futuristic. But, they only have 833 square feet of living space. And there isn’t any local garbage or grocery or really anything service. So, they’re talking about using special, unmanned boats that will take away your garbage and drones to deliver groceries. The whole concept is that it’s going to be eco-friendly.
The sound of water is the most relaxing thing in the world to me. Needless to say, I would love to be in one of these for a while. But I can’t imagine living in one of these permanently. It’s too small and disconnected from society. I can see this as a vacation home for a week at a time if I had the money for it. Prices range from $300k to over a million.
