A man in Missouri City, Texas took on an alligator before taking his daughter to school. She was on her way out, but came back and told him that there was an alligator just a few feet outside of the front door. He thought she was joking at first. But there it was, facing the front door like it was just waiting for little kids or a dog to come out and walk into its mouth.
Mike, the dad, remembered the lessons he’d learned from watching “The Crocodile Hunter” years ago. He threw a towel over the gator’s head to calm it down. Actually, it took a couple of attempts. The alligator kept turning its head. But Mike eventually did it. Then, instead of calling animal control, he took the kids to school and came back……… where the gator was still hanging out. So he did what we all would do. He got behind it and somehow held its mouth shut while taping its legs together. After, he called a friend, they loaded into the back of his truck, took it to a local pond where he thinks it came from, and let it go.
Again, never calling animal control or worrying about it coming back! I mean, that thing is probably angry with a grudge now. Mike is going to wake up in the middle of the night with it staring at him through the window, pointing one its tiny gator fingers at him, then slowly pointing it back at its mouth.
